Glendola Leisure Group is one of the UK’s leading Family-Owned private Hospitality Companies that own and operate Hotels, Pubs, Coffee Roasteries, Restaurants & a Brewery.
We take pride in our unique entrepreneurial approach, leading the way in innovation and creativity.
Our portfolio includes several venues in London including Waxy O'Connor's, the award-winning Irish pub in the heart of London's West End, the renowned World's End Pub & Underworld Live Music venue in Camden and various other pubs across the city.
Our Scottish portfolio is split between Edinburgh and Glasgow and is where we display our artisanal skills from beer brewing to coffee roasting with Shilling Brewing Co and Gordon Street Coffee. The UK hotel portfolio also operates across these two cities.
In Belfast we have ambitions to bring the first “Design Hotel of the World” to Northern Ireland through a regeneration of our Tipsy Bird site which will also see the creation of the Brewers Yard where the company can showcase its beer brewing, coffee roasting and retail expertise.
To create and build iconic businesses capable of enduring over the long term underpinned by our generational family business ethos.

Shilling Brewing Co. is the first to bring the brewpub experience to the heart of Glasgow. A place where an appreciation of the art and science of brewing is at the core of what we do and for all to see, taste and enjoy.
Glasgow has been pioneering the perfect pint for over 400 years and the Shilling Brewing Co. is contributing to the next chapter in this story by creating a space where everyone can discover and appreciate beer, straight from the source.
This includes our core range of beers designed to be enjoyed fresh, just meters from where they are brewed, alongside a host of selected beers sourced from pioneering craft breweries.

Small batch coffee roasters and Great Taste Award Winners, at Gordon St Coffee we will take you on a journey, from green bean to cup. We believe coffee tastes best when it's fresh so we roast everything in our coffee shop, using traditional methods of sight & sound to ensure the perfect cup every time.
Gordon Street Coffee, which undertook its inaugural roast in May 2014, was the first shop in Glasgow’s city centre to roast its own coffee and has now brought the freshest coffee to Edinburgh. Customers can meet the team as they work in our roastery where they are more than happy to answer any questions about the process and see our coffee roaster nicknamed ‘Deidre’ in action.
